So what does it look like where we stay in Africa? Probably not what you are thinking - at least for us. We live in a community not unlike much of the States. Our foster homes are right across the street from us or on the iThemba property. They are nice homes but full since at least 6 children of various sizes and 2 adults live in them. One family has a granny with them now as she is sick.
This is a country where the first world live next to the third world. If you haven't been out of the States, you might not have seen this. Don't get me wrong, we have our poverty areas but mostly, we don't have to see it on a daily basis. Here you can.
So a few more pictures of our home and then later in the weeks, a few of the homes near by. Contrasts.
